I am an artist and a dreamer with a creative free spirit in constant pursuit of new ways to express myself.
I have always sought a creative career, and throughout my years in the corporate world I felt like something else was calling me, but I couldn’t quite tell what.
Finally, I listened to my inner knowing and discovered my true passion – to tap into the magic of self expression through art and to share light and love with other artists through creativity, connection, and community.
Why Blonde Mannequin?
Blonde Mannequin came to be when I was thinking of quirky names for a brick and mortar shop where I could feature the work of local artists. I’ve always loved quaint little shops where everything has a story.
MANNEQUIN, the classic 80’s film about a young artist who searches for the perfect career in which to realize his inner calling. During his long and dedicated search, finally at one particular job, he attempts to creates the perfect Mannequin. Then, sometime later, he sees the mannequin he created in a store window and his creation comes to life, fulfilling all of his hopeful desires!
In my corporate day-to-day reality, this notion kept replaying in my head. I felt stuck in a plastic world waiting on my wildest dreams to come alive, all the while realizing I was so far from the reality of fulfillment .
Blonde Mannequin is my shedding of an unfulfilled path and my commitment to creativity, authenticity, and vibrant connections. I hope you’ll join me.

Blonde Mannequin is a platform for creativity, through sharing ideas and aiming light into the beautiful world of art in our communities.
Beyond sharing the art that I create or collaborate with others, the mission is to seek out other artists and share their journeys and ways of expression, with you. Featuring other artists, sharing interesting perspectives, and creating collaborations through installations and workshops, are a few aspirations for Blonde Mannequin.
